10 Music Bands To Listen To This Christmas Season.

Christmas season is here again, and what better way to waltz yourself into the Christmas feeling than through music. The weather will be freezing, Leaves will start falling and nights will get longer, and the sure-bet way of enjoying this home-bound time is through Music. Although this time, I’m not talking about rocking to a brand new Beyonce anthem or swaying your hips to a Shawn Mendes record, I’m talking about stomping your feet, screaming loudly and throwing your fingers in the air, to some Band music. (Can I hear an Amen in the back!).

If you’ve been dying for a new band to listen to since Imagine Dragons came on the scene or you have never really been into music bands, this is the list for you, cause it’s just about to change your life

Everyone that knows me knows I’m a sucker for bands, as a matter of fact, my top 5 favorite artistes list is sure to have a band in there somewhere, So here we are, to talk about a Miss-President approved topic–Bands.

1. Twenty One Pilots.

Brief Bio: Twenty One Pilots is a Grammy Award-winning American musical duo originating from Columbus, Ohio. The band was formed in 2009 by Tyler Joseph along with former members Nick Thomas and Chris Salih, and currently consists of vocalist/keyboardist Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun.

P.S. I’m certain everyone already predicted that Twenty-One pilots will be somewhere on this list, The vibrant band with hits like Chlorine, Ride and Car Radio is sure to elevate your spirit, and give you a good rocking this Holiday Season.

2. Imagine Dragons.

Brief Bio: Imagine Dragons is an American pop rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, consisting of lead singer Dan Reynolds, lead guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee, and drummer Daniel Platzman.

3. AJR

Brief Bio: AJR is a New York City-based indie pop band composed of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met (born Metzger). The band is a DIY pop group who write, produce, and mix their own material in the living room of their Chelsea apartment

P.S. This rock duo is sure to have you loving up this festive season, with some tunes that can easily be compared to any romantic tune on the block. (This is my personal favourite band though( Yayy!)

4. Bastille.

Brief Bio: Bastille began in London as a solo project of Dan Smith, before turning into a band with Chris Wood, William Farquarson and Kyle Simmons. The name comes from Bastille Day, which is celebrated on Smith’s birthday. Bastille was signed to Virgin Records in 2010.

5. Panic at the Disco.

Brief Bio: Panic! At The Disco is a well known pop-punk band, especially among alternative rock fans. It was first formed in 2004 by childhood friends Ryan Ross and Spencer Smith. They soon invited Brent Wilson who, in turn, offered Brendon Urie a place in the band too. When they first started up, Ryan was the lead singer, with Brendon as the back-up. However, when he found out how good Brendon was at singing, he told Brendon that he could be the lead instead.

7. IAMX

Brief Bio: Ever since leaving wildly successful trip-hop group Sneaker Pimps, Corner’s process of becoming IAMX beginning in 2004 has been theatrical, transcendent, communal, androgynous and visceral. Chris Corner, Jon Siren, Janine Gezang, Sammii Doll are currently all members of the IAMX band, with Corner serving as it’s lead singer since the origin.

Brief Bio: Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro. Williams and Farro are founding members of the group, while York, a high school friend of the original lineup, joined in 2007.

9. The Chainsmokers

10. 30 Seconds to Mars

Brief Bio: Thirty Seconds to Mars (commonly stylized as 30 Seconds to Mars) is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1998. The band consists of brothers Jared Leto (lead vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards) and Shannon Leto (drums, percussion). The band achieved worldwide fame with the release of its second album A Beautiful Lie (2005).
